It helps if you tell us which device and iOS version you use. Please don’t send anything you wrote in your journal: we never need it.

- Both devices must be signed in to the same Apple Account, with iCloud on.
- Open Velunda on both while online and give it a minute; changes sync in the background.
- In Velunda, Settings > iCloud shows the sync status, for example if your iCloud storage is full.
I bought Velunda but it looks locked
Open the unlock page (Settings > Purchase) and tap Restore Purchase. Make sure the App Store on this device is signed in to the Apple Account you bought with. If you use Family Sharing, your family gets Velunda too.
The free week
Velunda gives you seven days with everything, free. After that, unlocking it is a single purchase: no subscription. Whatever you decide, everything you wrote stays yours to read, search and export.
Keeping a copy of your journal
Settings > Export Journal lets you save a backup (which you can import again), Markdown files, a PDF, or all three in one archive. The book of the year is in Look Back.
I deleted an entry by mistake
Deleted entries stay in Recently Deleted (Settings > Recently Deleted) for 30 days. Open one and tap Recover.
App lock
If Face ID or Touch ID doesn’t work, you can always unlock with your device passcode. The lock needs a passcode to be set on the device.
